Activities included: down hill skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, rollerskating and golfing:blind ski guide training - hidden valley, paobjective: to ensure that our guides are properly trained and confident in guiding blind skiers. 13 volunteers.splash lagoon pool party - erie, paobjective: for athletes and families to enjoy time together in a water park 19 athletes, 12 volunteers, 28 family & friends.ski sessions - hidden valley, paobjective: providing outdoor adventure and downhill ski opportunities for bvi individuals.session #2: 9 athletes and 12 volunteers.session #3: 26 athletes and 16 volunteers.multi day ski trip - mt. Snow, vtobjective: providing outdoor adventure and downhill ski opportunities for bvi individuals. 21 athletes and 11 volunteers.hartford adaptive sport equipment & move united grant unveiling - cranberry twp., paobjective: celebrate the move united/hartford grant and provide a goalball and blind soccer clinic. 19 athletes, 13 tvis/ o&ms, 20+ others.spring sports clinic @ storm harbor equestrian center - slippery rock, paobjective: provide athletes with equestrian, archery, and tandem biking experience. 30 athletes, 12 volunteers.paddleboarding w/ surfsup @ moraine state park - portersville, paobjective: provide bvi athletes with paddle boarding experience. 11 athletes, 10 volunteers.8 mile kayak w/ carried away outfitters - greenville, paobjective: provide a kayaking experience for individuals who are bvi athletes: 16 athletes. 9 volunteers.october clinic w/ mel blount youth leadership initiative - claysville, paobjective: provide athletes with outdoor adventure that included horseback riding, a fitness and ropes course, and relay games. 19 athletes and 17 volunteers.fall goalball clinic @ rmu - moon twp., paobjective: provide individuals who are bvi with goalball introduction and provide opportunity for everyone to try the sport. 14 athletes, 17 volunteers, and 2 coaches.blind sports education and goalball tournament w/ edinboro university's adapted sports program edinboro, paobjective: introduce blind sports to edinboro students as they followed up with a goalball tournament. 45 students.ascend rock climbing clinic - pittsburgh, paobjective: provide individuals who are bvi with indoor rock climbing experience. 23 athletes, 10 volunteers, 6 ascend volunteers.
Provided one day events to school aged children who are blind or visually impaired.
