Faunalytics

Research library: faunalytics published 276 new research study summaries and 56 blog posts that synthesized research on important animal-related topics, and updated and/or created new infographics, such as our fundamental on animals used in research or our factsheet on animal product welfare labels. We send weekly and monthly research alerts to thousands of scholars and animal advocates throughout the year, with 11,800 subscribers in 2024. In 2024, faunalytics' collective resources received over 775,000 pageviews. We also launched a redesigned website with better user features, as well as microsites in spanish and chinese.

Research support: faunalytics directly supports animal protection nonprofits by helping them apply data to their work. In 2024, we provided pro bono support to 147 advocates and organizations, helping them find data, scope problems, design and analyze research, interpret data and results, and strengthen alliances with other animal advocates. We supported a movement-wide initiative to track cultural change related to farmed animals in the united states. We delivered customized research presentations to 13 organizations via our ambassador outreach project. We hosted fauna connections, a research symposium that connects academics and advocates working on animal issues, with over 430 advocates from around the world in attendance.
