The Frick Collection (the "Collection") operates an internationally recognized art museum and library program for the inspiration and enjoyment of the public and for the advancement of the study of fine arts and kindred subjects.

Library Program: The mission of the Frick Art Research Library is to provide public access to materials and programs focused on the study of fine and decorative arts created in the European tradition from the fourth through the twentieth centuries, as well as art from around the world that has been influenced by or had an influence on this tradition. The library serves an international research community and supports scholarly and programmatic initiatives throughout The Frick Collection. The Library provided on-site and remote services for all of the 2023 tax year, by welcoming 907 visitors, answering 591 research questions in person, answering 1,446 research questions by email, and filing 1,231 interlibrary loan and 2,727 document delivery requests.
