Mission
Friends of the Futures mission is to facilitate a vision of lokahi - harmony and balance - among the diverse peoples of Hawaii - by encouraging each person to contribute their deepest values, to create shared visions and to continuously improve our communities.
Programs

Health & Wellness Programs include: Tutu's House, a community health and wellness resource center, offered 1,026 in person and video conferencing health-related education presentations with 6,491 attendees; a lending library used by 79 individuals. Neighborhood Place of Kona provided wrap around care coordination services, emergency food and diapers, and housing assistance for 135 families with 156 adults and 193 children, six (6) family-centered community events, and 353 requests information/referral services. North Hawaii Domestic Violence Awareness Committee hosted three (3) community events to increase awareness and provide resources related to domestic violence issues
Cultural Programs include: Na Haumana o Papa Auwae, 22 cultural students continued stewardship of a section of Lapakahi State Park. The group re-implemented an annual practitioner gathering attended by 63 individuals. Hui Kuapa returned to in person monthly celebrations of Hawiian language, music and dance attended by 3,200 people total.
