Lgbti pathways is a 3-year global resource mobilization research project managed jointly by gpp and ilga world that will develop credible, reliable, and accurate evidence on the needs, priorities, and funding landscape of the international and regional lgbti movements. It will do so through regional surveys of the lgbti movement in africa, asia, oceania/pacific, europe and central asia, latin america and the caribbean, and north america.

Gpp is the convener of a task force focused on philanthropic responses to anti-gender issues. Over 50 philanthropic organizations and networks reflecting a range of grantmaking focus across geographies and issues participate.

Fund our futures campaign - gpp initiated the fund our futures campaign to call on philanthropy and donor governments to meet this political moment by deepening commitments to global lgbti rights. The campaign aims to unleash $100m in new funding for lgbti movements at a pivotal time for human rights and democracy worldwide.trans and intersex funding initiative - gpp members strategize and collaborate to develop new research and support collaborative funding efforts towards increasing the amount and influencing the type of funding dedicated to trans and intersex issues globally.regional cafes - in 2023 gpp launched our fourth regional cafe on eastern europe and central asia. All four regional cafes met twice a year per region focused on west africa, asia and the pacific, latin america and the caribbean and eastern europe and central asia. These cafes provide informal spaces for regional grantmakers to share lessons, challenges, and trends in each region, discuss resource and research needs, and share information about grantee partners when needed.research - gpp and member funds commission new research exploring and documenting opportunities, challenges, and trends in the field. Research includes: the global resources report - lgbti communities worldwide face urgent conditions, and grantmakers must mobilize together to financially resource the movements that can meet those needs. This report provides the data to make the case for strategic and impactful funding. The latest edition published in 2024 builds on the four previous editions, documenting a combined ten years. State of trans and intersex organizing, 3rd edition surveys launch 2023 - gpp is developing a third edition of these reports and the trans and intersex funding and movement surveys that will yield the reports. These surveys document the current focus of trans and intersex groups organizing and access to funding.convenings and webinars - in service of gpp's goal to cultivate and deepen the knowledge, skills, and capacity of gpp members and other funders, gpp regularly organizes donor pre-conferences (dpcs) and related events in advance of regional or global meetings of lgbti civil society. Gpp events center funder peer education and may include civil society representatives as content experts. Often held before or after a large civil society gathering, the donor pre-conference model creates programmatic and relational incentives for grantmakers (philanthropic donors, government development actors, high-net wealth individuals, and others) to participate in donor education, research sharing, networking, and regionally specific dialogues related to issues impacting lgbti communities. Gpp also hosts webinars to cultivate and deepen the knowledge, skills, and capacity of gpp members and other funders in support of global lgbti issues.
