Transforming lives through the power of work, goodwill industries of (continued on schedule o) southern california ("gsc") serves persons with disabilities or other vocational challenges by providing education, skills training, work experience, and job placement services.

Material collection, handling, and processing - creates employment for persons with disabilities and other barriers to employment, including skills training. In 2024, approximately 73 individuals were employed.
Workforce development - includes a wide variety of programs providing employment preparation, skills training, job development, and job placement for persons with disabilities or other vocational disadvantages. In 2024, over 37,589 individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment were assisted through these various programs.
Contract department - a family of programs including computer recycling, shredding, document imaging, custodial building services, and assembly and fulfillment services to assist local businesses. In 2024, over 35 individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment were trained and employed in these programs.
