Our home buying program has a low foreclosure rate due to the robust classes our clients must take to prepare them for long-term, successful homeownership. In addition, we offer free courses to the participants and are open to anyone in our community interested in our habitat financial academy. Our mandatory classes take the whole person approach, and the curriculum includes budgeting, planning and saving for future repairs, increasing saving, home maintenance, civic engagement, wills and trusts, predatory lending, mental and physical health, nutrition, and other practical topics.
