Dental services were provided to 2,256 unduplicated dental patients in fiscal year 2024 during 4,220 visits. School based outreach services screened 5,292 students and provided dental services to 826. Almost 52% of dental visits were provided to uninsured patients. Challenges with filling open hygiene, dentist, and dental assistant positions continued to limit the number of patients seen per day in the clinic in fiscal year 2024.
The organization provides behavioral health (bh) and substance use disorder (sud) services in johnson county, miami and franklin county, kansas and the surrounding areas. Hpc's behavioral health program is built around the integrated model of care which makes behavioral health providers available to patients in the primary medical care exam room, where many behavioral health issues are first discovered. The organization expanded services in fiscal year 2023 to include a psychiatric nurse practitioner who provides medication management to bh patients and medicated assisted treatment for sud patients. Bh services are also provided at the organization's school based health clinic in the shawnee mission school district. Bh and sud care was provided to 911 patients during 3,494 visits in fiscal year 2024, a 35% increase from the prior year. Over 36% of bh and sud visits were provided to the uninsured and 157 visits were individuals experiencing homelessness, an increase of 55% from 2023.
Health partnership clinic (hpc) participates in the 340b pharmacy program which offers eligible participants the ability to obtain prescriptions at discounted rates. Hpc has a contract relationship with wal-mart and auburn pharmacy.
