The mission of the Kansas Association of Community Foundations is to leverage the resources of community foundations in the State of Kansas to strengthen and promote community philanthropy and to inspire action that will improve the quality of life in Kansas communities.

Express Training - the Association operates Express Training which is a 15-module on-line series on starting and growing community foundations including asset development, grant program design, fiduciary and leadership. During 2024, the program helped 50 community foundations, including 20 KACF members.
Administration of grants on behalf of the Patterson Family Foundation for the benefit of community foundations in Kansas.Conducted a statewide survey of member foundations to collect data on staff compensation and benefits. The survey gathered salary and benefit information by staff position and also analyzed results by the asset size of each participating community foundation. The findings provide valuable benchmarking data to help foundations make informed decisions related to staffing, retention, and organizational planning.
