Mission
The kentlands community foundation is a community-based, not-for-profit organization rooted in kentlands. The foundations mission has three branches: to serve as an educational resource on the landmark new urbanist community that is kentlands, to build community by supporting local arts and cultural programs, and to provide opportunities for volunteerism and community outreach. The foundation believes that the neighborhood is the heart of community life. Our goal is to help connect individuals and families in ways that enhance everyday life and encourage civic involvement. All programs are open to the public, and volunteers are always welcome.

The artist collective (a/k/a artist gallery's) mission is to bring art to the community, in addition to supporting the local arts community through sales of juried member artwork.
Musica viva kentlands (aka classical concert): is committed to bringing classical music performed by professional musicians to our community. These free concerts seek to raise appreciation for classical music by making it accessible for all.
Kentlands under the lights: is a community wide celebration that bring families and friends together to dine under the lights and stars. The purpose of the village at kentlands and lakelands is to create a community where neighbors help neighbors 55 and over age with purpose through social connectedness, cultural enrichment and support in daily living.
