La Pine Community Kitchen

The La Pine Community Kitchen operates a personal shopping food pantry two days a week. The pantry is staffed with ten volunteers and a food pantry manager. Because of our in-kind food donations, we were able to distribute over 25,000 food boxes to the residents of La Pine and surrounding rural areas. Approximately 65% of our clients are seniors and veterans, and 14% are children under 18.

Five days a week the La Pine Community Kitchen offers hot tasty meals. We have an open dining room that provides a safe welcoming space for clients to gather around the table and enjoy a meal together. There is to go meals available as well. We serve a high percentage of seniors living on fixed incomes and several are disabled Veterans. Everything is provided free of charge and there is no limit to how many times someone and access our services. We do not collect statistics on our clients and our services are offered without bias or discrimination.
