Mission

The lake county community fund (lccf) is a nonprofit created to bring additional resources into lake county to support the community, including local non-profit organizations. The vision of the lccf is for lake county to have an abundance of sustainable philanthropic resources to support a thriving community. Its mission is to provide a means to expand the capacity of local organizations, promote and facilitate giving opportunities and inspire investment in lake county. The lccf will encourage donations by individuals, businesses, and foundations, and invite charities in leadville and twin lakes to apply for grant funding to further their missions. The lccf will (i) capture philanthropic dollars of people and organizations who love leadville; (ii) support existing non-profits and worthy causes in lake county; and (iii) make grants and provide capacity- building services to existing lake county non-profits.
