Mission
Levine music, washington d.c. Region's preeminent center for music education, is a welcoming community where children and adults find lifelong inspiration and joy through learning, performing, listening to, and participation with others in music.levine's core values, excellence and opportunity, infuse everything we do. Our distinguished faculty offers a broad and well-rounded curriculum that provides a strong musical foundation for students of different ages, abilities, and interests. We strive to make levine education available to everyone. Hundreds of our students received substantial scholarship assistance; many hundreds more receive free instruction through outreach programs.
Programs

Subsidized partnerships & scholarships - levine provides music instruction to approximately 200 at-risk children in selected dc public schools. Our first music programs provide these children with essential skills that enhance social, emotional, and academic development. Levine recognizes that there are students throughout our community who need financial assistance to be able to study with us, and the school is committed to supporting these students. Levine provides both need-based tuition assistance and merit-based stipends to students at all of our locations. Each year approximately 300 students receive scholarship funding for music instruction. Total for subsidized partnerships and scholarships for the year ended 6/30/2024 was approximately $625,503.
Marketing and public relations - levine conducts various events and performances and uses social media, radio advertising, and newsletters in order to inform the public and raise awareness of the benefits of music.
