The sub-grant program is designed to rpovide targeted funding to organizations, schools, or communities to support literacy initiatives. These grants often help improve reading and writing skills among underserved populations, including children, adults, and non-native speakers. By offering financial resources, traning, and educational materials, the lcpb sub-grant program works to enhance literacy development through funding for tutoring, mentorship, and family engagement. Lcpb sub-grants are applied for by our coalition members annualy.the turn the page program is a partnership with a local drug court to provide support in rehabilitation and reintegration efforts. Individuals navigating the legal system due to substance-related offenses often face literacy challenges that hinder their ability to secure stable employmnet, complete education programs, or effectively communicate.
