Family and community services (formerly information and referral) - luminus provides basic information and referral to immigrants from nearly 70 countries to help them navigate various complex service systems as they learn to adapt to the american culture. Common areas of support include social services, health services, employment, housing assistance, health outreach education, and workforce development.

New american staffing - new american staffing connects immigrants, refugees, and other new arrivals to solid employment, helping candidates restart careers and companies regain competitiveness.

Language prose (formerly language connections) - luminus is one of only a few nonprofit organizations in maryland that provides interpreter services through its language prose program. Specializing in health and human services, language prose offers approximately 5070 interpreters who speak 30 or more languages. Approximately 40 of these interpreters are also trained and certified in medical services.
