Mission

Miami freedom project is committed to transforming south florida through outreach, movement building, and communication strategies. By the conclusion of 2024, we had coordinated and taken part in 35 events alongside more than 45 partners, benefiting over 2,400 participants. Our active volunteer corps was made up of 267 individuals who joined our mobilizing calls and other outreach programs and members participated in over 200 volunteer shifts across miami-dade including phone banks, text banks and canvasses. Our digital organizing program tactics included consistent and frequent posting across multiple social media channels. This positioned us as a reliable platform that our audience could return to for updates, variety of content, and local event roundups. By consistently deploying these tactics, we built a trusted and engaged online audience. As a result, our engagement rates were higher than in any previous year. Our ongoing media literacy program produced 49 editions of bi-lingual
