Mission

To provide personal and compassionate support to cancer patients and their caregivers in our community.

Programs

4 programs

The Maria Mancia cancer caregiver support network was founded in 2009 and is the 2nd formed caregiver network in the nation. We support caregivers while their loved one is undergoing cancer treatment with personal coaches, support groups, weekly check ins, and grief support for 12months after their loved one has past.

Expenses: $132K

We provide emotional support, regardless of income, to local people and their families fighting cancer. Support groups include monthly support group luncheon, caregiver support groups, young adult support groups, mindfulness series and grief support group. We also provide private counseling and home/hospital visits. All are free of charge because of generous donors.

Expenses: $103K

Our transportation support includes free rides door to door for medical treatments if our clients do not have road worthy vehicles or a support system to drive them. We provide gas cards, food cards, airfare and hotel reimbursement for people traveling longer distances for medical appointments. All services are free of charge due to the support of volunteers and generous donors.

Expenses: $56K

Our Unique Boutique houses wigs, bras, prosthetics, adult briefs, hats, turbans, and food supplements. All the things people need, never wanted, and not covered by insurance. All services are free of charge because of generous donors.
