To prepare entrepreneurs for success through training, education, and access to capital.

Entrepreneurshipmlcdc provided business planning, business administration training, and technical assistance to 180 students enrolled in the business plan class. Eighty clients participated in the business administration classes. Approximately 80 percent of participants were women. Mlcdc assisted with the registration of 61 new limited liability companies and provided a total of 1,050 hours of technical assistance, including support with product development, sales tax, ein registration, financial projections, operations, marketing, and sales. Mlcdc continues to provide technical assistance to 241 businesses that have registered since 2019.
Lendingmlcdc continued to provide loan servicing for five microbusiness loans in the greater omaha area, which have retained 27 jobs since 2021. Mlcdc also continued to provide new loans through the support of ced grants and local foundations to help create and retain jobs in the greater omaha area.
