Donation center: mission lexington's donation center is the lifeblood of the organization. Donors are able to drop off new and gently used household items as well as food for the food pantry. An average month produces over 240 household donation drop-offs and approximately 45,000 pounds of food. In addition, our donation center rescues food and unsold household goods from multiple grocers and retail establishents in lexington country each weekday. Items are processed for our food pantry, thrift stores, christmas shop (for children), re-housing purposes (fire, domestic violence, etc.) and treasure trove (high-end thrift items).
