The mission of motus theater is to create original theater to facilitate dialogue on critical issues of our time. We aim to use the power of art to build alliances across varied segments of our community and country

Immigrantamerica description: immigrant leaders with daca status present artful autobiographical monologues about the challenges and contributions of the immigrant community. The project is one of the very few in the u.s. In which immigrants with daca status perform their own stories & are featured as protagonists. Visual arts exhibits featuring monologists & their stories at performing arts venues, libraries, & schools expand the reach of the stories.

Justus description: the justus project includes an autobiographical monologue workshop with formerly incarcerated community members and impactful theater performances. Performances also include legislators, law enforcement, and grantmakers co-reading the stories of the formerly incarcerated monologists.
