Maps advanced precedent-setting projects that incubate and accelerate groundbreaking psychedelic research with a focus on benefiting people impacted by injustice, oppression, and conflict. Research grants were provided to support clinical research of mdma and ayahuasca in spain, australia, israel, and the u.s. Maps delivered three psychedelic-assisted therapy training events attended by 161 therapists from 26 countries, providing training scholarships to 25 therapists from palestine, ukraine, bosnia, croatia, and egypt.

Maps advanced public and professional education about psychedelics through the development of training for first responders in psychedelic crisis response, public education videos for harm reduction, hosting a convening for communications professionals to improve education in the media, and laying the groundwork for psychedelic science 2025, the largest conference for therapists, researchers, advocates, and people interested in psychedelics.

Maps organized or participated in five policy reform coalitions in partnership with more than 20 organizations and served as an expert advisor to legislators and regulators in twenty states and three countries.
