Mission

Nonprofit VOTE equips our nation's nonprofits with nonpartisan tools and resources to help the communities they service to participate in voting and democracy. Nonprofit VOTE manages National Voter Registration Day.

Programs

1 program

National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is a civic holiday managed by Nonprofit VOTE. In 2024, we recruited and supported 152 major national partners and 5,600 community partners. Thanks to partner efforts, 820,000 new/updated registrations were generated on NVRD. Prior to the holiday, we provided online toolkits and legal guides to partners, hosted webinars that drew hundreds of attendees, and mailed thousands of partners organizing kits with free event posters and stickers. The event generated significant media coveage across print, TV, radio and social media. Work also included post-event data collection, reporting/evaluation, and initial planning for 2025 and beyond. With related overhead, total expenses amount to $946,757.
