Mission
Provide research grants to individual researchers, research teams and institutions on specific themes of relevance to the arab region. Provide fellowships to postdoctoral scholars, create working groups and workshops on arab region topics

Fellowships Provide fellowships to junior postdoctoral scholars (0-3 years out of the Phd) to further their dissertation research and publish as well as to begin planning additional research projects.
Working Groups and Workshops Working groups around specific themes of importance in the Arab Region. Groups of up to 15 scholars will be multi-disciplinary, transregional and will bring together senior and junior scholars to work on synthesizing knowledge of particular issues and open new horizons for research. Scholar workshops for grantees that promote collaboration and exhange of knowledge.
