to educate, defend and protect the rights of immigrants. Recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals, NMCIR is committed to expanding access to legal immigration services, participating in policy making and community organizing.
Programs

Workforce Development- The Program provided construction site safety training education, outreach and referral services for construction workers and subcontractors. The Programs Worker Center provided a dignified space for day laborers to meet, obtain referrals to jobs or legal services to address issues such as wage theft.
Civic and ESL Education- This program helped prepare students for the USCIS citizenship interview and provided them with classes that helped improve their english. Approximately 250 students were served.
