Mission

Eliminating barriers to oral health care for oklahomans. Improve and advance oral health through care, education and training.

Programs

2 programs

The oklahoma dental foundation helps lead the oklahoma mission of mercy (okmom), an annual two-day free dental clinic that rotates to different communities across oklahoma. Each year, more than 1,000 volunteer dental professionals and community members join forces to deliver more than $1 million in donated dental care. Patients receive cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other critical services at no cost, often experiencing immediate relief from pain and improved quality of life. As the state's largest charitable dental event, okmom is a visible reminder of the power of collaboration and compassion in action through community engagement.

Expenses: $367K

The foundation strengthens dentistry across oklahoma by providing high-quality continuing education courses and seminars for dentists, hygienists and dental assistants. These programs keep oral health professionals current with evolving best practices, new technologies and regulatory standards. By investing in professional growth, the odf raises the standard of care statewide, helping ensure patients benefit from an informed, skilled and compassionate dental workforce.
