The Amistad Carribbean Arts Program continued to connect students with their heritage through the music, dance, and cultural study of the African Diaspora. Amistad began plans for the expansion a two-week summer camp into a year-round educational program serving Cleveland students weekly in collaboration with local schools and professional artists. Students will strengthen artistic skills, cultural awareness, and self-esteem through a curriculu that celebrates the music and traditions of the African Diaspora.
