Pacific Forum International

The operationalizing integrated deterrence in the indo-pacific (oiip) project creates a forum for a whole-of-government approach to promoting integrated deterrence in the indo-pacific region. The forum is designed to share insights into a range of topics related to integrated deterrence among government policy makers, military officers, security policy researchers, and industrial representatives. The forum focuses on fostering multilateral cooperation, promoting the integration of deterrence capabilities, mutual understanding of the regional threat environment, defense industrial collaboration, improving interoperability, enhanced strategic communication, and the integration of emerging technologies into deterrence capabilities.

Carnegie corporation of new york-advancing arms control: this project provides general support for pacific forum's efforts to promote extended deterrence nonproliferation initiatives through multilateral forums throughout the indo-pacific region. It also supports pacific forum's efforts to analyze and assess regional reactions to the emerging security environment in the region, and it helps develop an international consensus on common approaches to enhancing regional security.
