Mission

Peaceworks is a mountain peace shelter that provides advocacy and resources for survivors of intimate partner violence and abuse, sexual assault, teen dating violence, and stalking. Peaceworks is culturally responsive and fosters social change by offering prevention and education initiatives, crisis intervention, emergency safe shelter services, and healing-centered, trauma-informed care for clients and families, including pets. Peaceworks also operates a donation-based community wellness program that encourages personal wellbeing, healthy relationships, and safe homes.
