Committed to strengthening our community, focusing on youth baseball and softball, military appreciation, mental health, and cancer support.

Community health. Pirates charities supported a number of initiatives that contributed to overall community wellness throughout the pittsburgh region by providing support and resources to local nonprofits and executing memorable pirates experiences for those battling cancer and other health issues or developmental disabilities. In addition, pirates charities continued to help fund chill mobile, an in-school mental health curriculum teaching children and educators evidence-based coping skills, in partnership with allegheny health network.
Military appreciation. Pirates charities supported local nonprofits who care for and serve veterans and active-duty service men and women. In addition to contributions, unique and memorable pirates experience were provided throughout the year to local veterans and active-duty service men and women and their families and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
