Mission
To promote friendship and cooperation among individuals who were and are currently licensed as Amateur Radio Operators for more than 25 years. To operate exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes.
Programs
2 programs
We provide college scholarships from our Scholarship Fund each year to qualified amateur radio operators. The Foundation for Amateur Radio (FAR) provides at no cost the selection and distribution process for the scholarships.
We provide grants to other Ham Radio Organizations that operate for educational and scientific purposes as well to individuals and/or groups that travel to rarely heard entities (Dxpeditions) for the purpose of communicating with Ham Radio Operators worldwide.
