Mission

Empowering native american communities from across the country by fostering career readiness pathways in the clean energy industry, with energy sovereignty initiatives, workforce development training, and sustainable building deployment.

Programs

2 programs

Our workforce development program is about more than career training - it's a pathway to energy sovereignty, sustainability, and cultural resilience. Our programs combine hands-on skill building with the values and traditions of native communities, preparing participants to thrive in the renewable energy industry while staying grounded in their heritage. From our pre-apprenticeship readiness programs (pre-arp) to the women-focused bridge initiative, we create opportunities that empower individuals and strengthen entire communities. We are shaping a skilled native workforce, uniting tradition with innovation to advance energy independence across indian country.

Our sustainable building program addresses the housing crisis on pine ridge with innovation and respect for the land. We do this is by using cellular concrete - a material that allows entire homes to be built that are hyper-efficient. These homes are designed to provide safe, efficient, and affordable housing solutions while setting a new standard for sustainable living on the reservation. We also practice compressed earth block (ceb) construction, using natural materials from the land itself to build strong, beautiful homes. Together, these approaches are capable of bringing immediate relief to the housing shortage while honoring a vision of resilience and self-sufficiency.
