See schedule o: enery conservation servicesrecap's energy conservation services division assists low-income households by reducing their energy costs and improving the comfort and safety of their homes through energy efficiency retrofits. The work typically includes air sealing, wall and ceiling insulation, heating system service or replacement, hot water tank and pipe insulation, and electric reduction measures, particularly lighting and refrigerator replacements. Onsite energy conservation education provides program.weatherization crews also perform health and safety tests that may include assessing heating units and appliances for combustion safety, carbon monoxide, and gas leaks; assessing moisture damage; checking electrical system safety; replacing unsafe heating systems; and installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.participantswith additional strategies for managing their energy costs. During fiscal year 2023/2024, the division's primary funding sources were the national weatherization assistance program, and nyserda's empower program. Through those programs the energyconservation services division served approximately 159 housing units.nationwide, households that receive weatherization services see $250-$480 annually in energy savings. The weatherization assistance program also helps the country reduce its dependence on foreign oil and reduce carbon emissions. Thousands of local supply-side american businesses and contractors are supported by the weatherization assistance program. For every $1 invested, the weatherization assistance program returns $2.51 in benefits, including $1.80 savings on energy bills.

See schedule o: supportive housing servicesrecap's supportive housing programs target residents who are homeless and are either, veteran, elderly, disabled, or in need of permanent housing.the goal of supportive housing and rental subsidy programs is to help participants regain self-sufficiency. Participants and case managers develop goals and track progress and challenges. Case managers support participants through social service navigation, replacing vitaldocuments, or finding clothes for a job interview. Unemployed and underemployed participants maintain structured daily activities focused on employment, self and family care, financial literacy, and education.
