Mission
Represent.Us Education Fund (RUEF) is a national, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) Organization working for a US government that is truly accountable to the people, not just the powerful. RUEF educates and unites people from all backgrounds to defend democracy, root out corruption, and build a political system that truly serves the public.Currently, political leaders are enriching themselves, dismantling checks and balances, and silencing those who stand in their way. The institutions meant to protect our democracy are under attack and the stakes couldn't be higher. RUEF is working to expose this corruption and build a government that works for the people, by educating millions on the threat of corruption and attacks on democracy and engaging them on solutions. Together, we can make real and meaningful change.

Grantmaking: RepresentUs Education Fund made grants to Represent.Us to support public education, research, and cross-partisan outreach activities. Grant funds were used to develop multi-channel public-education campaigns to inform voters about the challenges faced by our democracy and on viable policy solutions. Funds were also used to promote educational content about popular, smart political reforms; to produce compelling videos; and to provide of-the-moment communications on news items impacting our democracy. Grantmaking also underwrote the recruitment and training of volunteers.
Research and Planning: Fund conducts research related to anti-corruption, pro-democracy, campaign-finance and electoral-systems reform.
Other Program Services: The Organization conducts various projects to promote ethics, transparency and accountability in elections and governments.
