The Foundation's success in identifying and developing next generation leaders for careers in Finance was celebrated in several ways in 2024. The impressive group of past participants - referred to as alumni exemplify the success of Toigo's work and their own leadership impact with Finance. The Foundation retained a noted journalist to interview 30 alumni to present their viewpoints on investment markets, areas of their expertise and amplification of Toigo. These were produced and posted on social media. Additionally, 35 individuals were showcased for their excellence in their careers, their stewardship of the non-profit and their bright futures ahead. Two successful convening events were hosted in 2024 drawing in the investment community in celebration of the non-profits 35 years of service and impact. Details which surround two celebrations hosting a total of 1,600 professionals was a testament to the deep relationships established and the marker of excellence. The dinner program featured prominent authors and industry notables; followed by a gathering of past participants and guests. Each dinner event was preceded by an industry gathering of approximately a total of 250 guests to discuss critical topics which impacted the mission of the Foundation and its talent. Representatives from the plan sponsor and asset management community; past Toigo participants; board members and investment community.
In 2024, the Toigo Foundation enhanced its career advancement and corporate engagement services through a strategic platform branded as ToigoPRO (Professional Recruiting Opportunity). This initiative was designed to heighten visibility and access to employment opportunities for Toigo's highly talented candidate base while supporting corporate partners in identifying and engaging top-tier, talent for positions across financial services. Key investments were made in the redesign and enhancement of the talent website, creating a more accessible and user-centric portal for both job seekers and employers. The platform now supports streamlined application processes, increased visibility of job postings, and a dynamic presentation of candidate profiles for networking and interview consideration. These updates helped bridge critical connections between Toigo talent and leading firms seeking high-caliber professionals. To further amplify these efforts, the Foundation dedicated financial and operational resources to expand employer sponsorship tools, increase social media promotion, and host both virtual and in-person recruiting events. These activities included employer-led webinars that highlighted firm culture, investment strategies, and hiring needs. For MBA students participating in Toigo's programs, the Foundation launched an online talent portfolio platform that enables students to showcase their skills, career aspirations, and availability to apply for internships and full-time roles. This platform, combined with curated job listings and exclusive employer webinars, provided students with structured opportunities to engage with potential employers early and meaningfully. Additionally, a series of Talent Management workshops and educational podcasts were introduced, equipping participants with practical tools to navigate the competitive employment market. Topics included resume development, networking strategies, and compensation negotiation-all tailored to support the advancement and long-term success of Toigo alumni and current program participants. Through these multi-pronged efforts, the Toigo Foundation deepened its role as a trusted talent development partner within the financial industry, reinforcing its mission to support future leaders and expand career pathways.
