Mission
The mission of the Rochester Academy Charter School(RACS) is to prepare the whole child for a rapidly changingworld by cultivating the knowledge, critical thinking skills andpersonal character to succeed in college or a career of choice. RACS is committed to creating an environment of respect andinclusion that both acknowledges and supports the diversity ofthe RACS school community.

SPECIAL EDUCATION: The School is open to all children and does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, national origin, gender, disability, or any other grounds that would be unlawful or deny the civil rights of any individual. In accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and Section 504, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, the School provides a free and appropriate education, in the least restrictive environment to students with disabilities. The primary service delivery for students with special needs is inclusion.In addition the school generated $112,273 in government contributions included on form 990, Page 9, Part VIII, line 1e.
