Mission
Rocky mountain wild works to protect, connect, and restore wildlife and wild lands in the southern rocky mountain region. We work to secure the biodiversity of the mountains, plains, and desert ecosystems of colorado, wyoming, utah, and new mexico.

Responsible development - we work to find balanced solutions that protect the biodiversity of our region while allowing for responsible human development. We use the best available science to monitor and analyze all oil and gas lease sales in a five state area.
Key species - our region is home to more than 500 rare and imperiled native plant and animal species. We work to protect keystone and umbrella species that will result in the preservation of entire ecosystems.
Fiscal sponsor - summit county safe passages, san miguel basis gunnison safe-grouse working group, if/then science for young readers project, and if/then engagement with climate change project.
