Mission
Rehabilitative golf experiences for combat-wounded veterans to improve the quality of life for these American heroes. The SMGA believes that the rehabilitative benefits of golf can improve the mental and physical condition of each and every warrior returning from combat.

Tournaments: For 2024 we moved our annual SMGA Tournament from Manor County Club to Norbeck Country Club. The tournament remained our largest fund raiser. For 2024 the tournament at Norbeck County Club raised over $113,000 in revenue. In addition, our 4th annual Vet-Am tournament at Argyle Country Club continues to grow. For 2024 the tournament revenue increased to over $46,000. In addition, the New England/Rhode Island Chapter of SMGA hosted 5 tournaments throughout New England to include tournaments at Springfield CC, Sharon CC, Wedgewood, and Ferncroft CC in Massachusetts and a tournament at Pawtucket CC in Rhode Island.
