Programs
3 programs
Healthcare workforce development programs are funded primarily through grants by the University of Colorado Anschutz. Programming is aimed at youth and college students seeking careers in the healthcare field, healthcare professionals and healthcare systems.
Other community health programs include an early childhood home visitation program and a community program to reduce risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
SLV AHEC managed dozens of smaller grants addressing a range of community needs such as vaccinations, farm-worker health screenings, cardiovascular health and others.
