Residential: in an effort to help survivors prevent homelessness and promote self-sufficiency, sarc provides a 40 bed crisis shelter. Research has found that 38% of domestic violence victims became homeless after they separated from their abusive partner. An additional 25% indicated that they had to leave their homes during the year following the separation for both safety and financial reasons.in the current fiscal year, sarc provided 9,385 abuse-free bed nights to 221 clients.

Legal: helping domestic violence survivors access legal representation is imperative to helping survivors flee from their abusive partners. The legal department attorneys and staff accompanied clients to 156 hearings for temporary and final protective orders, divorce and custody proceedings and criminal trials. Attorneys represented clients in 234 court proceedings. Staff conducted 590 crisis counseling sessions and 1,195 safety planning sessions. 91% of sarc's clients seeking a protective order received one.

Community outreach and education the outreach program provides training, presentations and education on the prevention and effects of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
