Shakespeare Festival Of Dallas

Education - Our Shakespeare on the Go! educational programming expanded in 2024 to include two age-specific touring productions, student matinees of Julius Caesar, four summer camps, and a variety of master classes and in-school workshops. These efforts reached more than 12,000 students across North Texas, providing hands-on arts enrichment and literacy support aligned with TEKS standards.

Outreach - Through Shakespeare Unplugged, we presented Wars of the Roses (Henry VI Parts 13 and Richard III) in a staged reading series in partnership with Play On Shakespeare, featuring modern verse translations by Douglas P. Langworthy and Migdalia Cruz. Additional programming included book clubs, pre-show lectures, and members-only events designed to deepen engagement and expand access to classical texts for diverse audiences.
