The corporation is formed for the charitable purpose of improving the community by identifying and initiating services that address all aspects of community need. The corporation develops and manages programs to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. It seeks to ensure that all people especially those with the fewest resources have access to the opportunities they need to lead full productive lives. By providing various forms of support to the community we strive to help those in need enrich their lives by succeeding personally, academically, and in their employment, trade, or profession.

COVID-19 FUND-THE COVID-19 COMMUNITY FUND WILL PROVIDE RESOURCES TO OUR PARTNER AGENCIES AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS THAT WORK WITH COMMUNITIES WHO ARE DISPROPORTIONATELY IMPACTED BY CORONAVIRUS AND THE ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES OF THE OUTBREAK. WE WILL MOBILIZE OUR BROAD NETWORK OF OVER 600 COMMUNITY-BASED PARTNERS THROUGHOUT THE CITY TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES TO WEATHER THE COVID-19 CRISIS. THIS NETWORK OF COMMUNITY PARTNERS WILL PROVIDE DIRECT SERVICES THROUGH OUR READNYC, FEEDNYC AND STRENGTHENNYC PROGRAMS.
