Social accountability international advances human rights at workworldwide and envisions decent work everywhere, sustained by anunderstanding that socially responsible workplaces benefit businesswhile securing fundamental human rights.

Sai provides strategic and implementation guidance, advisory services,tools/resources, and customized training and technical assistance to help various organizations to advance working conditions. This includes helping corporate partners with implementation in their own operations or supply chains, helping industry organizations to support their members, and helping civil society organizations, government and intergovernmental agencies to develop policies and to design and implement programs.
Sai develops and maintains the sa8000 standard, social fingerprint and other standards and tools for organizations to measure and improve their working conditions and labor management systems.
Sai provides online and classroom training on a range of topics related to labor standards and working conditions, e.g. Social auditing, management systems, worker engagement, supply chain management, capacity building, risk assessment, living wages, purchasing practices, etc. The trainings draw a wide range of participants, from brands, suppliers, academics, government, banks, intergovt and development agencies, unions, civil society organizations, auditors, etc. Agencies, unions, civil society organizations, auditors, etc.
