Mission
The mission of SEADC is to foster a healthy, thriving and self-sufficient Southeast Asian community.
Programs

Youth Development Programs: SEADC youth development programs provided children, and youth between 5-18 years old with daily aftershool/summer enrichment services, supporting teens to build confidence and leadership skills, and teen paid work experience. SEADC daily enrichment and MYEEP youth programs operated throughout the year, including summer onsite at both facilites- 166 Eddy and 281 Ellis. SEADC conducted weekly teen leadership workshops to high school students at San Francisco Galileo high school. In FYE 24, SEADC provided services to 201 children and youth across our programs. Our program curriculum focus on academic support, enriching social and leadership skills, and opportunities to explore cultural identity, as well as assistance for youths seeking admission to postsecondary education.
Health and Wellness: SEADC health and wellness programs provided children, youth and adults with health education/substance abuse prevention workshops, 1-1 counseling, group pyscho therapy sessions, wellness workshops, intake/assessment, and community outreach and engagement. SEADC services were provided at San Francisco's Bret Hart elementary school and onsite at SEADC location. SEADC partnered with temple, nonprofit organizations, and small businesses for community events. In FYE 2024, health and wellness program provided services to 1901 clients.
