Fall for art: staa's centralized location on columbia street in downtown covington holds great value to the community, as it functions as an anchor to the monthly art events, occurring on second saturday evenings each month. Merchants, galleries and restaurants alike benefit from spring for art and fall for art, semi-annual art and music celebrations. Staa coordinates these events featuring an art walk with dozens of galleries, restaurants and businesses, plus musical acts and art demonstrations, drawing more than 15,000 visitors from all over the southeast region to the historic st john district yearly. Fall for art shows approximately 25 visual artists and 200 musicians through exhibition opportunities and live performances.
