The center provides a place of community to end isolation, build relationships, and introduce housing, health and wellness services to adult individuals experiencing homelessness in hollywood.

Programs

Day center and community wellness program the community wellness team operates the centers day center and wellness program, which is central to our mission to end isolation and homelessness in hollywood. Each day, the team fosters connection through coffee and conversation, social groups, and low-barrier access to essential services including mail, phone charging, healthcare, mental health and substance use support, and restrooms. The day center also serves as a hub for partner providers and special events, bringing hard-to-access services onsite-including eye and foot care, veterinary care, legal support, dmv id services, and vaccine clinics. The program is open to all and serves over 100 individuals daily, 90 of whom are currently or recently unhoused. The remaining 10 are housed participants who continue to engage with the center for social connection and stability. During the reporting period, the day center and wellness program served more than 2,500 unique individuals, and over 5,000 individuals across all programs.
