At this meeting, congressional leaders have an opportunity away from washington to discuss in depth and expand their knowledge of the critical issues facing congress and the nation.
Staff retreats: a unique 2-day forum where house personal office chiefs of staff, committee staff directors, and key staff from leadership offices gather to learn, communicate, and network on the challenges and rewards of managing congressional offices.
Congressional art competition: provides an opportunity for members of congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. The institute sponsors the art competition and reception honoring a student from each congressional district whose artwork was selected and displayed in the u.s. Capitol.
Other programs include amtrak, research, and other programs.
