The descendants project aims to champion the voice of the black descendant community while demanding action that supports their total well-being.

Advocating and educating the public on the dangers of heavy industry pollution and potential industrial hazards. Bringing international attention and awareness to and facilitating progress in our environmental justice and other community matters.
The descendants project continues to amplify the protection of the wallace, la descendant communities and are working with archaeologists, researchers, hisorians, etc. To have the community listed as a national historic landmark and to protect the burialgrounds of the enslaved. We have received national and international attention for our efforts including almost 2 dozen articles about our work in preserving the history, culture, and environment for the descendant community. We engage in identifying and memorializingthe burial grounds.
