Shelter operations/adoptions: animals are brought into shelter, injured, abused, abandoned: we take care of their medical, surgical, all health issues and give them love and warmth, food and take care of their daily needs. When they are healthy enough then we find them new forever homes. In addition, we hold mobile adoptions at different sites, fairs, and festivals.

Outreach program: maxfund administers a community-wide, and state-wide spay/neuter program for low-income pet owners, traveling the state of colorado to rural areas to administer spay/neuter, vaccinations, and other minor services at no charge to people who cannot afford services.
