The Opera Atelier Inc

Summer Arts and Sciences Camp for Kids for 20 students 9-17 in music performance ($40000) and YEP after-school Program in music for 63 public school students ($22000), plus a foundation grant from Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation ($10000). Both programs were funded by The Children's Trust and The Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs.

The Opera Atelier advances the art of opera through performance, education, and community engagement. Key activities in 2024 included the Younger at Arts (YA!) Program, empowering seniors through diverse arts activities like a Senior Community Chorus, Music Appreciation, Writing workshops, Storytelling, Art Classes, Exhibitions, Cultural Outings, Inter-generational Workshops, and collaborations with local artists, combating isolation and promoting well-being.
