The Single Mom Kc

Boutique & emergency assistance: the clothed with dignity and emergency assistance funds provide single moms with access to resources, particularly when facing financial hardship. The clothed with dignity boutique includes a wide variety of clothing, including maternity, active wear, winter coats, shoes, purses, new undergarments, accessories and toiletries. All items in the boutique are gently used or new donations from the community. The boutique receives approximately 2000 pounds of donations every month. In 2024, around 40,898 pieces of clothing, toiletries and accessories were distributed to 1,573 single moms throughout the kc metro area, easing their financial burden and allowing them to focus their limited income on other necessities. In 2024, tsmkc distributed $7,545 in emergency assistance funds to benefit 22 single mom families.

Workshops, leadership team & other programs: tsmkc workshops occur throughout the year and, in 2024, included "healing from your heart wounds: a trauma healing initiative," "victim to victorious," "financial stability," "healthy boundaries, and "learning to lead." workshops are short-term, intensive and intimate sessions that focus on spiritual, emotional, and life skills topics. In 2024, the single mom kc hosted 152 single moms and kids at 8 workshops.
